Alena Miles is the founder of Attorney Legal. She focuses her practice in federal & international areas on business tax planning, tax transactions, tax consulting, and tax controversy work for businesses, inter alia, partnerships, corporations, limited liability companies (LLCs), private equity funds, single purpose entities, and individuals.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Alena practiced public accounting as a Certified Public Accountant since 2007 and serviced business clients in various industries, including asset management, real estate, McDonalds franchisees, professional services, investment, and construction. Alena has over 15 years in small, medium, and large certified public accounting firms' settings, including PricewaterhouseCoopers and KPMG, the largest accounting firms – Big Four.
Most recently as a Tax Manager at KPMG, Alena provided valuable tax services to billion-dollar clients in the asset management industry. Alena managed billion-dollar large complex partnerships, including private equity funds with upper and lower tier structures and provided a broad range of tax services to the taxpayers to comply with the complicated tax laws and regulations with time-sensitive due dates. Attorney Miles built valuable relationships with clients to provide tax compliance, tax planning, and tax consulting services.
